Gala Games' two co-founders are suing each other, and the company is facing internal conflicts
ChainCatcher news, according to a disclosure by Magic Book co-founder Jake Browatzke on social media, two co-founders of Gala Games, current CEO Eric Schiermeyer and co-founder Wright Thurston, have filed lawsuits against each other, as the company faces internal conflicts.
According to the disclosed lawsuit documents, Eric Schiermeyer accuses Wright Thurston and his investment vehicle True North of allegedly transferring stolen tokens and manipulating the licensing company that operates "nodes" within the Gala ecosystem to earn GALA tokens. Meanwhile, Wright Thurston accuses Eric Schiermeyer of selling and wasting millions of dollars in company assets for personal gain without the knowledge or approval of the board or shareholders, and engaging in systematic, purposeful, and deceptive actions that harm Gala Games and its shareholders' interests.
