ChainCatcher news, the education technology startup Kinjo, based on the metaverse platform Roblox, has completed a $6.5 million seed round financing, led by LiveOak Venture Partners, with participation from Silverton Partners, Breyer Capital, and Roble Capital.
Kinjo connects children to the metaverse platform Roblox, allowing them to earn a virtual currency called Robux through play, learning, and gaming, and scores them based on their learning outcomes. The company also plans to expand its educational value scoring system to Fortnite and Minecraft.
