ChainCatcher officially launches the "2023 Catcher List" and is now open for submissions and evaluations

Web3 is becoming an important transformative force in global society that cannot be ignored, nurturing a new generation of technology leaders and outstanding investment institutions. In order to present these significant contributions of Web3 forces more clearly, ChainCatcher will adhere to the principles of professionalism, objectivity, rigor, and fairness, and rely on the leading Web3 data platform RootData for precise and powerful data support, dedicated to creating a data-driven and industry-credible list------Catcher List, showcasing more industry representatives in the Web3 field and assisting in the high-quality development of the industry.

The "Catcher List" is divided into two main parts. The first part is the TOP 100 Web3 investment institutions, with core measurement indicators including the number of investments, number of lead investments, quality of investment projects, media popularity, and RootData popularity; the second part is the TOP 100 Web3 projects, which will be further divided into two sections: projects with issued tokens and early projects without issued tokens, each selecting 50 projects. The measurement indicators for issued token projects include market capitalization and its stability, media popularity, financing amount, and RootData popularity, while the measurement indicators for projects without issued tokens include financing amount, media popularity, RootData popularity, and the quality of investment institutions.

Among them, RootData popularity refers to the user attention on the RootData platform for the project and institution, with scores calculated based on a weighted combination of search volume, favorites, and click volume.

RootData is a comprehensive Web3 project data platform that includes over 9,000 crypto projects, 5,000 investors, and nearly 6,000 investment and financing records. It presents information in a visual and structured manner through tags, ecosystems, and compilations, serving as a reliable channel for over 1 million users to query Web3 investment and project information.

The participation method for this list will include both self-nomination and objective screening. On one hand, we will conduct a detailed review of projects that actively apply; on the other hand, we will also include high-quality projects in the market in the selection range, and based on the data submitted during registration, RootData data, and other publicly available online data, we will calculate scores through weighted evaluation of different factors, ultimately determining the projects and institutions that make it to the Top 100.

For the projects and institutions that ultimately make it to the list, ChainCatcher will collaborate with RootData for extensive publicity and promotion:

Presentation formats: press releases, exclusive interviews, research reports, website ad placements, Twitter Spaces, etc.;

Promotion scope: promotion through over 50 leading/authoritative media outlets both within and outside the industry, and over 100 Web3 KOLs/communities;

The final selection results will be announced at the "Web3 100 Summit" conference hosted by ChainCatcher on November 24 in Hanoi, Vietnam, where many industry leaders, quality developers, and investors in the Web3 field will participate and witness.
