ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, the cross-chain interoperability project Interlay has announced the launch of a minimum viable product (MVP) based on a Bitcoin L2 solution, introducing Rust smart contracts compatible with Bitcoin libraries such as the Lightning Network and Ordinals.
In addition to Rust and EVM smart contracts, the release of the BOB MVP also incorporates Interlay's trustless Bitcoin bridge and an integrated Bitcoin light client that utilizes cryptographic verification from the Bitcoin main chain. The upcoming full version will support compatibility with Ethereum.
