Polygon Labs launches chain development tool CDK for developing Ethereum L2
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Polygon Labs has released a software tool called the Chain Development Kit (CDK), which allows developers to create zero-knowledge proof-supported Layer 2 chains for Ethereum. Layer 2 blockchains deployed using its CDK will be able to connect to a shared ZK bridge, enabling interoperability. The codebase of the CDK will be open source.
This tool will be launched as part of the Polygon 2.0 roadmap, which is set to be released next year, aimed at providing a framework for developing Layer 2 blockchains that can operate on the Ethereum network.
