The BNB Greenfield testnet will be upgraded on August 31

ChainCatcher message, BNB Chain announced that BNB Greenfield will undergo regular maintenance and upgrade to v0.2.4 on August 31 from 14:00 to 18:00. All buckets/objects previously stored on the Greenfield testnet will be cleared and will no longer be available for queries, and all account balances will be reset.

This will be the last reset before the mainnet, with the primary goals including fixing bugs from previous versions and introducing new features. After the reset, all tBNB on Greenfield will be cleared, and the team stated that it is preparing for airdrop rewards and incentives for advanced users. According to the airdrop rules, users holding less than 10 tBNB will receive an airdrop of the same amount.

In addition, BNB Chain has initiated a request for proposals for the development of self-hosted solutions for BNB Greenfield storage providers, with a submission deadline of August 31 and results announcement date of September 4.
