ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, 60-year-old Srettha Thavisin is the only candidate for the Thai Party, having received 482 votes out of a possible 747 in the Thai parliament. He previously served as the CEO of Sansiri, one of Thailand's largest real estate companies. His family company, Sansiri, is an active investor in Thailand's digital asset industry.
It is reported that Sansiri participated in a $225 million financing round for the Thai crypto asset management company XSpring Capital. Additionally, Sansiri issued and distributed its own token "SiriHub" through XSpring in 2022.
