OpenSea Pro will charge a 0.5% platform fee on listings starting from August 31
ChainCatcher news, OpenSea Pro announced that starting from August 31, it will charge a platform fee of 0.5% on all listings on OpenSea and sell orders created on OpenSea Pro. The platform fee is being implemented due to adjustments in creator fees, aimed at preventing market manipulation and keeping trading data as accurate as possible.
Previous news from ChainCatcher, OpenSea will implement an optional mechanism for creator fees for new collections starting August 31, and will remove the OpenSea Operator Filter (the mandatory creator royalty tool).
