Curve has disabled the Chainlink restriction for initiating proposals among all crvUSD price oracles
ChainCatcher message, Curve has released a proposal to disable the Chainlink restrictions on the crvUSD price oracle. The proposal states that all price indicators in crvUSD have a +/- 1.5% "safety limit" from Chainlink. This means that if the Chainlink price deviates too much (1.5%) from the internal indicator price (EMA), it will use data sources from Chainlink.
When the market is highly volatile, the Chainlink price can cause unnecessary additional losses. It is recommended to disable the Chainlink restrictions in the price oracle contracts for all markets, except for the old frxeth market (which will soon be replaced by new contracts).
