The Celestia testnet program Blockspace Race has concluded, and the mainnet is expected to launch within this year
ChainCatcher news, the modular blockchain Celestia announced that its incentive testnet program Blockspace Race has concluded and the mainnet will be launched later this year.
It is reported that the testnet started on March 7, with 1,000 participants worldwide joining, and with over 700 active light nodes, participants made outstanding contributions to testing and enhancing Celestia's data availability network.
In addition, during the testnet period, Celestia made many changes and improvements, including deploying over 800 sovereign nodes on the test network, QGB being deployed and activated by the validator set, and implementing a new hard fork mechanism.
