CF Private Equity, a private equity investment management company, plans to launch its first blockchain fund

ChainCatcher news indicates that, according to documents submitted to the SEC in early August, the private equity investment management firm CF Private Equity is preparing to launch its first blockchain-specific fund, named CF Blockchain Ventures LP, which is a private equity fund. The fund is expected to raise $100 million, but the disclosed figure may only relate to the fund's initial closing, and the company's spokesperson declined to comment.

It is reported that CF Blockchain Ventures LP, in seeking financing, has selected Commonfund Securities (a brokerage firm also supported by its parent company) and two banks located in Japan and Chile, respectively. Since 2018, CF Private Equity has completed more than 10 blockchain investments.
