Binance appoints former Novi compliance chief Kristen Hecht as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer and Global Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer

ChainCatcher news, Binance announced the appointment of former Novi compliance chief Kristen Hecht as the new Deputy Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Global Money Laundering Reporting Officer (GMLRO) at Binance. As Deputy CCO, Kristen will work alongside Binance's Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman to further enhance the company's industry compliance program. As GMLRO, Kristen will oversee the national and regional MLRO teams, equipping them with the necessary compliance risk management tools and administrative support.

It is reported that before joining Binance, Kristen Hecht served as the CCO of Meta's first cryptocurrency digital asset wallet project, Novi Financial. Prior to that, she worked at HSBC, supporting the company's compliance transformation during its deferred prosecution agreement period.
