Optimism launched the Superchain Faucet, a testnet faucet that supports the reputation system, and will support WorldID in the future

ChainCatcher news, Optimism announced the launch of the Superchain Faucet, a testnet faucet that supports a reputation system, allowing developers to access up to 20 times the amount of regular testnet ETH using on-chain reputation data. This will help developers in the Optimism ecosystem to conduct project testing and iteration more effectively. The Superchain Faucet not only supports social authentication via GitHub but also allows developers to authenticate through on-chain identities.

Currently, the Superchain Faucet supports OP Goerli but is designed to expand to other OP Chains of the Superchain, including Base, ZORA NETWORK, PGN, and future Superchain partners. The Superchain Faucet currently supports authentication via Optimist NFT and will support WorldID in the future.
