Metronome: The msETH-ETH pool on Curve has been attacked and has now suspended mainnet functionality
ChainCatcher news, the DeFi synthetic asset protocol Metronome tweeted that, as a precautionary measure, it has suspended Metronome mainnet functionality to control the situation and minimize damage while investigating the best course of action moving forward.
Metronome stated that a vulnerability involving multiple Curve pools has been exploited, and the msETH-ETH pool has also been attacked, with the attacker stealing all liquidity from the msETH-ETH pool. Any liquidity providers for msUSD trading pairs and Optimism users using msETH on Velodrome should note that their positions are unaffected. Additionally, all deposits and open positions in Metronome are not impacted by this incident.
