ChainCatcher news, Yves La Rose, founder and CEO of the EOS Network Foundation (ENF), announced on Twitter that the ENF is preparing to sue its main investor Block.one (B1) for "failing to honor the $1 billion investment commitment." La Rose stated that Block.one is working to resolve another class action lawsuit for $22 million, after the company rejected a proposal to settle for $27.5 million with the main plaintiff Crypto Assets Opportunity.

According to La Rose, the class action lawsuit in the U.S. has been ongoing since 2017 and is still in the process of resolution. Those wishing to join the latest lawsuit initiated by the ENF must first opt out of the existing lawsuit. The deadline to file a claim or opt out of the U.S. class action lawsuit is August 23, 2023.
