ChainCatcher message, the Ethereum Layer2 network Linea officially stated that since the launch of its mainnet Alpha version, over $20 million in assets have been bridged within a week, completing 670,000 transactions, which has temporarily increased the withdrawal time for Ethereum. The team is working to accelerate the bridging of assets from L2 to L1. The withdrawal time is expected to gradually decrease, aiming to reach a target of 8-32 hours in the coming days, and all pending transactions will be processed.

Linea explained that to carefully monitor transactions and protect user asset security, the team initially added a manual delay of at least 8 hours for the Linea Mainnet Alpha. This 8-hour delay will be reduced to 4 hours, and further reductions will occur in the coming weeks, ultimately eliminating the manually set delay as the system matures. (source link)
