Tesla has removed the "bitcoin" related source code from the payment page

ChainCatcher news, Tesla has removed the "bitcoin" related source code from the car purchase payment page, with the last modified date of the js code file being July 21 at midnight Beijing time.

Earlier, ChainCatcher reported that some users found the word "bitcoin" in the source code of Tesla's car purchase payment page, and this news has spread to some extent in both English and Chinese cryptocurrency communities. The last update time of the code source file was July 13, but this does not mean that the "bitcoin" related code was added during the update on July 13, nor does it prove whether Tesla has removed the related code after discontinuing support for bitcoin payments in May 2021.
