As the only blockchain in China that complies with regulatory requirements, Conflux today announced a new partnership with World Mobile. World Mobile is currently the only global telecommunications service provider built on blockchain technology.
Following the successful development of Blockchain SIM (BSIM) cards with China Telecom earlier this year, Conflux continues to strengthen its presence in the telecommunications field by establishing a partnership with World Mobile. The two parties plan to collaborate in the following four areas:
- Ecological Co-prosperity
World Mobile's native assets on the mobile network can be supported through bridging, enabling the first circulation outside the Cardano ecosystem on Conflux. This brings diversity to the Conflux ecosystem while providing rich liquidity for World Mobile.
- Technical Integration
World Mobile and Conflux will collaborate on technical integration, incorporating the Conflux Network into World Mobile's sidechain AyA, providing EarthNode and financial settlement functions for the Conflux Network.
- Collaborative Expansion in Asian and African Markets
Conflux and World Mobile each have strong influence in the Asian and African markets. The two companies will work together to leverage these advantages, enhance connectivity, drive user growth, and further penetrate key markets. Notably, Nigeria accounts for nearly 67% of the overall cryptocurrency market in Africa, and Conflux ranks top three in Nigeria's cryptocurrency market. Recently, World Mobile also successfully completed field tests of a hybrid dynamic network in Nigeria, following its successful commercial launch in Zanzibar.
- BSIM Card Development
World Mobile and Conflux will collaborate to explore how to better utilize BSIM cards globally to enhance digital connectivity solutions.
