Arkham CEO: The lack of privacy is the norm for most public blockchains today
ChainCatcher news, Arkham CEO Miguel Morel responded to recent criticisms regarding the project potentially leaking private information, stating, "The lack of privacy is inherent to the operation of most public blockchains today."
He said, "You are actually making a transaction and broadcasting it to a decentralized network of millions, where anyone can see which transactions are being broadcast on-chain. A publicly available blockchain may be the worst way to keep private information private."
Morel also stated, "Arkham's main clients are traders and hedge funds—those who make money by obtaining information about large buy and sell positions on a specific token." (Source link)
