ChainCatcher news, according to Chainalysis data, shows a significant decline in cryptocurrency-related crime. In its latest report, it pointed out that from the beginning of this year to June, the cryptocurrency flowing into illegal entities (including sanctioned individuals or groups) decreased by 65% compared to the same period last year.

Chainalysis stated that although the decline in cryptocurrency prices led to an overall decrease in trading volume, the decline in legitimate services was much smaller, with a year-on-year decrease in funds flowing in of only 28%. The decline in illegal cryptocurrency trading volume far exceeded that of legitimate cryptocurrency trading volume. On the other hand, in the first half of this year, ransomware attackers received cryptocurrency payments totaling $449.1 million. (source link)
