ChainCatcher news reports that a survey by PwC and the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) shows that the proportion of traditional hedge funds investing in crypto assets has decreased from 37% in 2022 to 29% this year. The report adds that a quarter of hedge funds currently invested in this sector indicate that increasing regulatory uncertainty in the U.S. regarding the crypto industry may lead them to reconsider this asset class.

Additionally, among the 59 hedge funds surveyed, over 70% of the funds' investment decisions were influenced by last year's market events (the collapse of several major crypto companies like FTX), with these funds managing a total of $280 billion in assets. (source link)
