The law firm charged Voyager creditors a total of $5.1 million in legal fees for the months of March to May

According to a report by Coindesk, the law firm McDermott Will & Emery, representing the Voyager unsecured creditors' committee, has charged Voyager $5.1 million for work completed from March to May. This latest bill brings the total compensation collected by the group to $16.4 million, exceeding the $11.2 million budgeted for the restructuring process. So far, creditors have paid $8.9 million of this compensation.

During this period, some of the largest billing areas for McDermott Will included $1 million for plan and disclosure settlement work, with 970.9 hours billed, which involved discussions with the debtors about sale options, meetings with potential buyers, and reviewing objections raised by other stakeholders.
