Casper Network releases a new upgrade version 1.5, and early partners will transition to the testnet after completing synchronization and integration
ChainCatcher news, Casper Network recently released the 1.5 upgrade version of its technology. Medha Parlikar, Chief Technology Officer of Casper Labs, stated that this version brings numerous improvements and optimizations to the Casper ecosystem. Integrated partners such as CasperSwap, Robot Cache, CasperPunks, MetaCask IPwe, and MAKE Services have already had early access to version 1.5 and the opportunity to experience the new features.
Medha also emphasized that once version 1.5 is released and potential patches are addressed, the team will consider changing the chain specifications to support 16-second blocks. Testing has been completed, and the team is confident in supporting this change on version 1.5. Members of the Casper ecosystem development community have also expressed excitement and strong support for this significant update.
It is reported that once synchronization and integration testing are successfully completed, Casper Network version 1.5 will move to the testnet. In the testnet, another synchronization with Genesis will be executed, and multiple new joining nodes will be launched to verify their ability to perform a complete archive synchronization back to Genesis. Only after this process is completed will version 1.5 migrate from the testnet to the mainnet. (source link)
