Bitcoin mining company Riot orders over 33,000 MicroBT mining machines
ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms has ordered its first batch of 33,280 MicroBT mining machines (priced at approximately $163 million) to establish its domestic supply chain. These MicroBT mining machines will be used at Riot's Kosse mining site in Navarro County, Texas.
These mining machines are expected to be delivered in December and deployed in the first quarter of next year. These machines will increase Riot's hash rate to 20.1 EH/s. If Riot chooses to purchase an additional 66,560 MicroBT mining machines, its capacity is estimated to reach 35.4 EH/s. (source link)
