Accenture Strategic Investment in Web3 Infrastructure Provider Parfin
ChainCatcher news, Accenture announced a strategic investment in the Web3 infrastructure provider Parfin through Accenture Ventures, with specific investment terms not yet disclosed.
It is reported that Parfin, founded in 2019, is an infrastructure provider offering digital asset custody, trading, tokenization, and management tools for financial institutions in Latin America. They are currently developing a permissioned blockchain technology called Parchain, aimed at enabling regulated entities to participate in DeFi and asset tokenization.
According to the crypto data platform RootData, Parfin announced the completion of a $15 million seed round financing in January this year, led by Framework Ventures, with participation from Alexia Ventures, Valor Capital Group, and the investment fund L4 Venture Builder from the Brazilian Stock Exchange.
