CoinDesk: A certain arbitrage bot borrowed $200 million worth of DAI from MakerDAO, ultimately making a profit of $3.24 after deducting transaction fees
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, an arbitrage bot borrowed $200 million worth of DAI from MakerDAO today, making a profit of $3.24 after transaction fees. According to analysis by crypto data provider Arkham Intelligence, the bot exploited MakerDAO's "DssFlash" contract, which allows users to borrow any amount of DAI without paying fees. The bot borrowed 200 million DAI and provided them to the Aave DAI market, borrowing $2,300 worth of WETH in return. WETH was used to purchase Threshold Network (T) on Curve, and then sold in a large single-block transaction on Balancer. (source link)
