According to Blockworks, Damus stated in a recent tweet that Apple has communicated with the open social application Damus, based on the Nostr protocol, about how to adjust the BTC tipping feature to remain in the App Store.

Currently, users on the Damus application can tip others through the zap lightning button at the bottom of posts. Apple wishes to remove this feature; Damus can keep the zap button on profiles, but it cannot appear in post content, or it will be considered as selling digital content.

Previous news reported that the open social application Damus, based on the Nostr protocol, tweeted that it would be removed from the Apple App Store within 14 days. Apple stated that the zaps feature is not allowed on their platform, as zaps could be used by content creators to sell digital content. (Source link)
