Cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp has received FCA approval to operate in the UK

ChainCatcher news, the European cryptocurrency trading platform Bitstamp UK Limited has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate in the UK. This was confirmed by the FCA's cryptocurrency registration update and by the regulator to Financial News. It is the second company to receive approval within two days, following the broker Interactive Investors (UK). Prior to this, the FCA had not allowed any cryptocurrency companies since December of last year. (Source link)
