On June 9, Beijing time, the global event themed "Discussion on the Development of Layer3 Modular Blockchain" hosted by Nautilus Chain was successfully held in Shanghai. The co-organizers of this sharing session included Stanford Blockchain Accelerator, Zebec Protocol, Tiger VC DAO, Crypto PHD, Rootz Labs, Planet Daily, Chain Catcher, among others. In addition to the aforementioned partners, Wanxiang Blockchain Lab also supported this event.

Nautilus Chain plans to continue hosting a series of modular blockchain technology sharing sessions in major cities across Asia, aiming to promote blockchain technology, especially the future of modular blockchain. It hopes to enhance public understanding of blockchain technology through these events and facilitate the development of blockchain technology in Asia.

At the same time, the sharing session will focus on enhancing awareness and will be conducted in the form of pure technical ecological sharing and popular science. It will specifically invite well-known project auditors, investment research, capital, and technical community partners to participate and engage in in-depth discussions on topics such as the development trends, challenges, and opportunities of modular blockchain, as well as potential business opportunities. It is reported that this series of events is planned to be held in major Asian cities such as Tokyo, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Bangalore. So far, the sharing sessions in Tokyo and Shenzhen have been successfully held.

At the sharing session in Shanghai on June 9, the attending guests included Zebec Protocol co-founder Sam Thapaliya, PosiSwap founder Chris Rung, Coral Finance partner ColdGrey, Eclipse CEO Neel Somani, Planet Daily co-founder Bmer, Tiger VC DAO community representative Alan SUNJet, LD Capticil Hakuna, and Hacash.com co-founder Ken, among others.

As a sharing session themed around Layer3, Zebec Protocol founder Sam Thapaliya first introduced the concept of Layer3 and elaborated on Nautilus Chain's Layer3 philosophy. He stated that Nautilus Chain is not primarily aimed at "patching" the previous layer like other Layer2 and Layer3 solutions. Instead, it aims to build highly composable modular facilities through a highly compatible modular design based on Layer0 and Layer1 infrastructures such as Celestia and Eclipse, achieving efficient sharding and ensuring data security. This chain not only allows developers to build efficient parallel modular Rollups, but these parallel designs of Layer2 will further promote scalability and efficiency, and are expected to achieve plug-and-play customizable modular infrastructure without reinventing the wheel.

In addition, Sam Thapaliya, as a co-founder of Zebec Protocol, further introduced the Zebec ecosystem and the significant importance of Nautilus Chain to the development of the Zebec ecosystem. He mentioned that the Zebec ecosystem initially centered around Zebec Protocol as the core to enable crypto assets to play a role in more fields through streaming payments. As the business of Zebec Protocol continues to grow, the development of the Zebec ecosystem is no longer limited to the protocol, with an overall expectation to expand into the public chain field to explore more business forms and deeply integrate with the Web2 world. Nautilus Chain itself is a project launched by the Zebec community and is currently the most pure and innovative Layer3 framework, possessing advanced and forward-looking technology. Therefore, Nautilus Chain will also become a "pioneering" ecosystem for the Zebec ecosystem's development into the public chain field, exploring traditional business domains first.

PosiSwap founder Chris Rung stated that PosiSwap, as the first DEX on Nautilus Chain, is expected to set an example for the Zebec ecosystem's development into the Web2 field. Based on the underlying Nautilus Chain, PosiSwap will soon explore the direction of RWA to trade more real-world assets.

In addition to the speeches from Sam Thapaliya and Chris Rung, other key attendees also shared their understanding of Layer3 from their respective fields and provided insights into its future development potential.

After the Shanghai event, the Nautilus Chain global tour will continue as planned in Singapore. While hosting the global tour, Nautilus Chain is also co-hosting a hackathon event with partners such as Stanford Blockchain Accelerator, Zebec Protocol, and Rootz Lab to help more quality developers participate in the development of the Web3 world, promote innovation and application of on-chain facilities, and advance the development of Layer3 technology.

Currently, the hackathon is actively accepting registrations (dorahacks.io/hackathon/stanfordhack/detail).

Nautilus Chain is currently in the testnet phase, with the mainnet expected to launch soon. In addition to Nautilus Chain, early projects in the ecosystem such as PosiSwap are also set to launch in the market soon, including IDO, airdrop, and other activities.
