ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Polygon's modular blockchain project Avail has launched the second phase of the "Kate" testnet. The first phase of the testnet allowed Avail to experiment with basic operations, execute on-chain functions, and run protocol governance. The second phase will include a more comprehensive testing environment to encourage validator participation. Developers stated that Avail also intends to address the "data availability" issues faced by scalable applications, planning to recruit hundreds of new validators to join, participate, and engage with its community.
