Gary Gensler sent the BNB report written by his students to Zhao Changpeng before serving as the chairman of the SEC

ChainCatcher news, Manta Network co-founder and COO Kenny stated on Twitter that during the year before he served as a teaching assistant for Gary Gensler (current SEC Chairman) at the MIT Sloan School of Management's Crypto Finance and Blockchain Lab, as a student in Gensler's class, Gary Gensler had sent a report he wrote about BNB to Changpeng Zhao and encouraged him to get more involved in crypto. He also had in-depth discussions with Gensler about crypto projects in the summer of 2019.

Kenny expressed that seeing Gensler's lawsuit against Binance and Changpeng Zhao today is an unfortunate outcome, "like watching parents argue," and hopes that "regardless of the outcome of this matter, the hard work of those wise individuals who strive to change the world in this field will be fully considered."
