Brazil's largest cryptocurrency exchange Mercado Bitcoin obtains payment institution license
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Brazil's largest crypto exchange Mercado Bitcoin has received a payment institution license from the Central Bank of Brazil this Friday, and is now authorized to operate as an electronic money issuer.
Mercado Bitcoin CEO Roberto Dagnoni stated that the exchange plans to offer financial services that combine cryptocurrencies with traditional financial services, and aims to launch a crypto payment card in the coming months. (Source link)
