Coinbase Derivatives Exchange will launch BTC and ETH futures contracts for institutions on June 5
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase announced that, in response to institutional demand, its derivatives exchange regulated by the U.S. CFTC, Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, will launch BTC and ETH institutional futures contracts on June 5.
It is reported that the size of the Coinbase Bitcoin (BTI) futures contract and the Coinbase Ether (ETI) futures contract is 1 BTC and 10 ETH per contract, respectively, and can be accessed through third-party futures commission merchants (FCM) and brokers. In addition to risk management and higher precision, these institutional-sized contracts have much lower fees compared to traditional products, allowing institutions to maximize capital efficiency.
