Mining company CleanSpark purchased 12,500 Bitmain mining machines for $40.5 million

According to ChainCatcher news, CoinDesk reported that Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark has purchased an additional 12,500 Bitcoin mining machines for $40.5 million, marking the latest in a series of purchases during a market downturn. These machines will add 1.76 EH/s of computing power to CleanSpark's operations, bringing it closer to its goal of 16 EH/s by the end of 2023.

As of the end of April, the company's mining power was 6.7 EH/s. The press release stated that the first batch of 6,000 Bitmain Antminer S19 XP mining machines will be shipped by the manufacturer in June, with the remainder to be shipped in August. (Source link)
