The MAPO Hackathon, strongly supported by Afflux, is coming with a bang!

The MAPO Seoul Hackathon, co-hosted by MAP Protocol and Waterdrip Capital, with strong support from Afflux, opened for online registration on May 6. So far, over 70 participants and 40 projects have registered, with developers coming from various regions around the world, including South Korea, China, the United States, Japan, and Singapore. After review by technical judges, outstanding projects have emerged. Please follow Afflux's official Twitter for updates. Afflux will hold an online Demo Day on May 27, and the Hackathon will take place offline in Seoul on May 31.

As a full-chain interoperability infrastructure, this MAPO Seoul Hackathon is themed "Break Barrier in Web3," aiming to promote a diverse and open full-chain ecosystem, gathering innovative developers to co-create the full-chain ecosystem and overcome the current interoperability challenges in the Web3 ecosystem.
Evaluation Criteria for the Hackathon:
- Technology: The project's technical uniqueness and specific engineering implementation.
- Innovation: The originality, creativity, novelty, and value of the project, as well as whether it brings something new and unique to the ecosystem.
- Practicality: How practical the project is for target users and whether it addresses real problems or pain points.
- User Experience: How simple and intuitive the project is for industry experts and beginners.
- Impact on the Omnichain Ecosystem: The extent to which the project improves the ecosystem, whether it promotes adoption, provides better tools, or improves architecture.
- Growth Potential: The potential for future growth and development of the project.
- Overall Presentation: The presentation quality of the project during Demo Day (including demo videos and documentation).

Benefits and Rewards for Participants
Winners of the MAPO Seoul Hackathon will have the opportunity to join the exclusive blockchain technology circle of MAP Protocol and may receive direct investment opportunities and guidance from the MAP Protocol ecosystem fund.

Due to some project teams being unable to participate in the offline Demo Day in Seoul, selected projects can choose to participate online on May 27.

Demo Day Participation Instructions
Selected projects can choose to participate in the Demo Day online or offline. All online participating projects and judges need to download Zoom in advance to join; offline participating projects and judges should arrive in Seoul, South Korea, before May 31 and reach the Demo Day venue.
Each project will be presented in the order drawn beforehand.
Each team will have at least 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A with judges.
Schedule for the offline Demo Day in Seoul on May 31 (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)
The offline Demo Day in Seoul will officially open at 9 AM on May 31, with the host introducing the process and rules. Representatives from MAP Protocol, Afflux, and Seoul Daily will also give opening remarks, and relevant industry leaders will share insights on entrepreneurship and technical security.
The first round of demo presentations will start promptly at 10 AM on May 31; the second round will begin at 2 PM after discussions on Web3 gaming and Particle development; the third round of demo presentations will start at 3:45 PM and continue until 5:15 PM.
The results of the competition will be announced on-site in the afternoon, followed by a banquet. Before the banquet, the organizers of the MAPO Seoul Hackathon and relevant co-hosts will give speeches to conclude the first MAPO Seoul Hackathon successfully.
Important Notes for Participating in the Offline Demo Day in Seoul
When attending the offline Demo Day, please bring your own laptop; power and WiFi will be provided on-site.
All projects successfully selected to participate in the Seoul Demo Day on May 31 will receive an invitation letter from the project team. If you are unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact the project team in a timely manner.

On Demo Day, experienced industry leaders will share insights on how to create a pitch deck, design economic models, and build the best products, providing you with valuable industry insights. You will also meet new friends and have the opportunity to communicate face-to-face with core engineers from MAP Protocol, gaining the latest technical insights on full-chain development. We will also provide food, drinks, and swag!
