Brave launches NFT video call feature, allowing the management of calls using NFTs and POAPs
ChainCatcher news, the privacy browser Brave has launched an NFT-gated video call feature, allowing hosts to manage access to calls using NFTs and POAPs, enabling NFT projects to chat with other holders. Currently, this feature only supports NFTs on Ethereum.
According to reports, compared to other video call solutions that only use passwords to control access (such as Zoom or Google Meet), Brave's new Web3 calls enable new features regarding user authentication and authorization. Since NFTs can be sold and traded, using NFTs as an access system creates a video call system that simulates real-life events: entry is granted with a ticket. (source link)
