Base mainnet roadmap reminds that there is no token issuance plan and opens minting of commemorative NFTs
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase L2 network Base has released the "Base Mainnet Roadmap" on its official website, stating that Base is preparing for the launch of the mainnet and specifically noting that there are no plans to issue a network token. The standards for the mainnet launch include proving the stability of the testnet, completing internal and external audits with no major security issues found, and the successful upgrade of Optimism mainnet Bedrock. Following the mainnet launch, Base will open the "Genesis window," supporting developers to deploy dApps on the Base mainnet.
In addition, Base stated that to commemorate this important update, users can pay Gas fees to mint the "Path to Base Mainnet" commemorative NFT. (source link)
