ChainCatcher news, Cosmos ecosystem EVM-compatible chain Evmos tweeted that it has learned that the former co-founder has been trying to sell 500,000 EVMOS tokens on Osmosis. The address holds 34 million EVMOS and has staked 11.5 million EVMOS. The initial lock-up period for the tokens at this address is one year, with a linear release over four years.

Evmos stated that the former co-founder made substantial contributions to the project and left due to differences on certain issues. Currently, Evmos is working with him to return the tokens to the Evmos Foundation.

According to the crypto data platform RootData, Evmos announced last November that it had completed a $27 million financing round, led by Polychain, with participation from institutions such as Coinbase Ventures. (Source link)
