ChainCatcher news, Filecoin has launched a user-side retrieval tool called Lassie, allowing users to retrieve data without running an IPFS or Filecoin node. Additionally, application developers can utilize Lassie as a library to directly fetch content from Filecoin and IPFS within their applications.

It is reported that due to the diversity of data transfer protocols in the IPFS ecosystem, Lassie currently supports both Graphsync and Bitswap protocols simultaneously, with plans to support more data transfer protocols in the future. (source link)
