ChainCatcher News, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has filed claims against FTX and its affiliated entities totaling nearly $44 billion, comprising 45 claims, including West Realm Shires (the legal entity for FTX.US), Ledger Holdings (the parent company of LedgerX and LedgerPrime), and Blockfolio.

The largest claims include a $20.4 billion claim against Alameda Research LLC and a $7.9 billion claim, as well as two claims totaling $9.5 billion against Alameda Research Holdings Inc. The $20.4 billion claim against Alameda Research LLC includes approximately $20 billion in unpaid partnership taxes, with the remaining amount consisting of millions in withholding taxes and payroll taxes.
