ChainCatcher news, according to statistics from Chengdu Chain Security, there were more than 19 typical security incidents in the cryptocurrency field in April, with total losses from various attacks amounting to approximately 101 million USD, a decrease of about 53.9% compared to March.
It is reported that the losses from security incidents in April mainly came from several MEV bots that suffered malicious sandwich attacks, with losses reaching 25 million USD. In addition, there were two incidents of exchange hot wallets being hacked in April, each involving amounts exceeding 10 million USD.
