Bitcoin transaction fees hit their highest level since May 2021
ChainCatcher news, according to Finbold, Bitcoin transaction fees have surged recently, reaching a historic high not seen in the past two years. As of May 3, the total fees for Bitcoin blockchain payments reached $3.57 million, an increase of about 400% since the end of April. This spike can be attributed to the creation of BRC-20 Tokens. However, despite the rise in fees, the average daily transaction fee for Bitcoin remains significantly lower than that of Ethereum. (Source link)
