ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Bhutan's investment department plans to collaborate with Nasdaq-listed Bitdeer Technologies Group to seek investors for its upcoming $500 million fund. The fundraising activity aimed at institutional investors will begin at the end of May, with the goal of establishing a zero-carbon crypto mining base leveraging Bhutan's abundant hydropower.

Ujjwal Deep Dahal, CEO of Bhutan's investment department Druk Holding & Investments, stated in an interview that mining is the least risky way for Bhutan to participate in the crypto space, and the country will currently focus on Bitcoin mining. (source link)
