Coinbase launches an international exchange, offering perpetual contract trading to institutional users outside of the United States
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase has announced the launch of an international exchange, having received regulatory approval from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), which will enable institutional users in eligible jurisdictions outside the United States to trade perpetual contracts.
Currently, the exchange has listed BTC and ETH perpetual futures contracts, with all trades settled in USD and no fiat currency entry required, initially offering leverage of up to 5 times. Direct access to trading via API is available for eligible institutional clients in non-U.S. jurisdictions, and these products are currently not available to retail customers. (Source link)
