Lens Protocol has renamed the Optimistic L3 scaling solution to Momoka, which has begun testing in multiple ecological applications
ChainCatcher news, the Web3 social graph protocol Lens Protocol has renamed its Optimistic L3 scaling solution Bonsai to Momoka, aiming to handle transactions at ultra-large scale and support the next generation of Web3 social users. Momoka, as a scaling solution, can process Polygon transactions off-chain, achieving ultra-large scalability and reducing costs. Unlike L2 solutions, Momoka does not compress transactions into L1 but instead sends and stores them on a data availability layer.
Lens Protocol ensures scalability in collaboration with Bundlr Network and the Arweave Ecosystem team by providing data availability (DA) guarantees, allowing wallets that support the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to maintain DA logic and facilitate rapid data publishing. Momoka has already begun testing in Lens ecosystem applications Lenster, Lenstube, orb, Buttrfly, and Phaver. (source link)
