The Aave community proposed to conduct an "anonymous vote for a trial period of 2 months" on Snapshot, currently with a support rate of 99.98%
ChainCatcher message, the Aave community is currently voting on the ARFC proposal for "a trial period of 2 months for anonymous voting," with a support rate of 99.98%. The voting will end on May 2.
It is reported that the proposal suggests adding a "private voting" module, i.e., anonymous voting, to the community voting on the Snapshot platform, in order to produce fairer and more accurate results during the Snapshot voting phase. The trial period is two months, and the community and space administrators can revoke it at any time. The proposal states that anonymous voting has four benefits: preventing voters from being intimidated and coerced, preventing the decisions of early voters from influencing later voters, protecting participants' privacy, and preventing bad actors from interfering with the voting process.
