Devconnect is structurally different from Devcon, consisting of many separate events organized by the community, with each event delving deeply into a specific topic.

The Ethereum Foundation stated that the main reason for choosing Istanbul as the host city for Devconnect 2023 is its unique position as a bridge between East and West, convenient transportation, and the rich local community with numerous student blockchain clubs. Additionally, Istanbul's unique blend of history, culture, and modernity will provide a good environment for the global Ethereum developer community and promote innovation in Ethereum.
