Flashbots launches MEV-Share Beta to distribute a portion of MEV profits to Ethereum users
ChainCatcher message, Ethereum infrastructure service Flashbots has launched the beta version of the MEV-Share protocol, aimed at distributing a portion of the maximum extractable value (MEV) profits to Ethereum users. The MEV-Share protocol is included in Flashbots Protect, a remote procedure call (RPC) tool that can be integrated with user wallets, designed to defend against bots attempting to profit by front-running user transactions.
Flashbots claims that MEV-Share allows users to adjust privacy settings and manage order flow sharing, which can prevent front-running while selectively sharing transaction information with seekers operating MEV bots. As a result, users are eligible for "MEV redistribution rewards" while maintaining a basic level of privacy. (source link)
