Sui: A random selection of 96,000 will be made from 180,000 accounts to issue whitelists, and winning users will be notified via email starting today

ChainCatcher message, in the Discord community, Sui officials stated that they have currently stopped accepting Recognition Sale applications. The Recognition Sale will be open to community members who joined Discord before February 1st, with the theoretical number of eligible members just exceeding 340,000 accounts. Currently, the total number of final submissions for the Recognition Sale is 180,000 (filtered out various ineligible accounts, including known bots and duplicate Discord IDs).

The Sui Foundation has developed a random selection algorithm for this purpose, which is expected to randomly select 96,000 winning accounts from the 180,000 submitters (assuming each whitelisted user purchases at the maximum quota). Users in regions with ambiguous regulatory guidelines may need to perform additional participation steps.

The Sui Foundation will begin contacting whitelisted users via email on April 20, 2023, and will activate the whitelist on trading platforms on April 21.

It is important to note that the Sui Foundation will not ask winning users to provide information that has already been submitted, and the email will not contain any external links. Users should be cautious of scams and phishing activities.
