ConsenSys: Private information of 7,000 MetaMask users leaked
ChainCatcher news, ConsenSys stated that the private information of 7,000 users who contacted customer support between August 2021 and February 2023 was expected to be leaked (such as email addresses). ConsenSys indicated that users of the MetaMask browser extension and mobile app were not affected, as hackers gained access to third-party service provider systems to steal customer information that required support.
